Congratulations!!! Enjoy your much deserved break.

Congratulations, I just passed my first semester. How is the second one? easier, harder, or just the same?:balloons:

Third is fun and 4th goes by so quick, you don't even know where all the time went! Congrats!

I can't wait for third and fourth semesters but I'm wondering if it's true what I hear seasoned nursing students at CSN saying: if you survived first semester, the rest is not that hard?

Okay, well I figure I will take it as it goes. But that first semester was rough! I am thrilled that I got a "B"! (Even though it completely lowered my GPA--3.0 x 6 credits --holy cow! but I never thought I'd be happy about that! haha). Does anyone get A's? (Or should I permanently swallow my pride and never look at my GPA again?LOL) But what I really mean is, does it get easier in anyway? How is second semester?? What is one thing that first-to-second semester transitioners should know!

Any insight would be great!

Hey! Congrats Tinkyboo! Are you in full or part time program? I just finished my first semester at CSN too.

Congratulations everyone! After my first semester, things sure did seem a lot easier. I think that first semester in nursing school is just crazy - it's a big adjustment going from student to nursing student! It does get easier. Here's to your eventual graduations!!

Hi,

The second semester was hard as compare to first. But u will get thru it if u will study really hard. My best advise READ ur book, u will get notes from class, test review and lecture slides but read your book with all other study material.

When you will start a new body system in the book, the first chapter is A&P , u dont have to read that according to instructor but i will suggest read it. That s wat i did, and i was the only one in my study group who read those A&P chapters, i am happy that i was never under stress during the 2nd semester and i attended 2 or 3 classes.:nono:.

If you have any question about the second semester let me know. i will happy to answer it.
