We got into the CLC Nursing program...now what

I guess we're not the only ones glued to the computer this morning! Sure would like to meet all of you at Orientation...how can we find each other? Everyone wear red hats or something? Ha ha....

congrats on getting your preferred sections. i got mine too for nur 172. it really helps when you have a family and you plan things out in your mind.

Anyone wonder why only sections 001 and 002 are listed for textbooks at CLC's online bookstore? I assume they are the same for all sections, just wondering why the other sections are not listed. Hmmm....

they did that for us too for some reason. all the sections use the same books because they decide as a department. they all work together and use the same videos, handouts, etc....

how exciting for everyone!!!!!!!!!!! i'm also excited for the second semester although i heard it's the hardest of them all.

I got my choice - Sec 001 - I was sitting here at CLC and at 8 it wouldn't let me in - I thought I was going to toss my Starbucks across the room.

I can't wait to meet everyone at orientation too! Should we hold signs like at the airport? :welcome: But it would say "Diedra" or "Lori" or "Heather". HEE! HEE!

I guess we need to join the school supply/nerd/anxiety attack support group! I had to check 3 times just to make sure my selection showed up in my class schedule.

at orientation all 60 people introduce themselves and say why they want to be a nurse. say your names loud and also be ready for a urine test too. try to be the first in line for that many had to stand in line for 45 min.

Get a PDA! You can carry the most important references in it.

i was wondering the same thing yesterday, but assumed it was correct. also, i did find some of those books on amazon too!

sections 1 & 2 "sold out" in 5 minutes and mine was gone after 8 minutes.

I'm in too! Section 1. Diedra you make me laugh - I though I was the only one who had to triple and quadruple check my schedule to make sure everything went through OK. ;-)

Nope, I did it too...I'm still checking throughout the day just to make sure it's still there.

clcstudent...wow!!! 5 minutes!!! That is crazy!!! Maybe people realize then that it is important to sign up immediately!!! Not sure first year students realize that, but I knew!!!
