Wake Tech Fall 2017 start

Hello Lads and Gents,

I'm at work and decided to check my Wake Tech email and the headline says "New Announcement Available in course Gateway to Success Nursing Curriculum Orientation (GATEWAY TO SUCCESS): Current Ranking Number

Next in line:1

... I can't remember the points I had but maybe you all want to check your emails for updates and share.

I did not get the email but I logged into blackboard and looked at Gateway to Success Nursing Curriculum Orientation Announcement. I see the same thing. I was told today the letters will be mailed this week or early next.

Did everyone see that announcement?

Mine said "next in line 1" as well. I don't think it means anything. It may be where they will post news later???

Congrats hunny!!!! How long did it take you?

I do not have that announcement in my blackboard. I think I had 172 points if I remember correctly, and haven't heard from Wake Tech yet. I'm disappointed if the lack of that announcement means I didn't get in, as Wake is my first choice, but I got into DTCC so at least I'm going somewhere.

it says that on mine also but it also says disregard any emails from them and that they will notify when it has been properly updated. i think its all just a mistake given that the nursing department just took over the responsibility of sending out letters, notifying and etc..

i really don't think it means anything :) lets just keep looking out for those letters!

I found the announcement by logging into Blackboard and going to "courses tab" and then searching "Gateway to Success Nursing Curriculum Orientation" I saw the announcement with "next in line 1". Since then there is another announcement there stating "ignore any emails that you may receive regarding this topic". I agree with others that this was a mistake the nursing department made and that we will be notified by letter in the US mail...........hopefully soon!!!
