visa fee bill

Hi

My wife has finished RN, CGFNS & IETLS. She has already filed the papers. Now presently we married. We have already sent to NVC to accept me as spouse. They accepted and replied. We got I 140, the agency has already paid the visa fee bill for her. Now the agency is waiting for visa no, to pay visa fee bill for me? After paying visa fee bill for me then only our DS 230 will b submitted to NVC?

Now this is where we are standing. Can you please explain me that the process is right? And if it's right, tell me after submitting DS 230 how long it will take for processing

Thanks & Regards:heartbeat:heartbeat:heartbeat

At the moment you all are affected by retrogression and until the date on visa bulletin matches I140 date of receipt you will not move any more forward. What is the I140 approval date?

It could be years, there is still a retrogression in place, and do you know for a fact that they received the bill in the first place for your wife? And even for you, or do they just want the money given to them now to be ready with it when the bill arrives?

Visa numbers are not available, so not sure what they are telling you. WE do not expect them to be sending out the DS-230 for sometime, until there are visas. They are currently working on petitions that were submitted in 2001/2002. You will be further ahead to have a look at the Visa Bulletin that is posted every month, the one for March is available around now, or very soon. Usually mid month. I seriously doubt that they have received the bill for her since PD dates are far from being current.
