So I was signed up for an AP 2 class nearby my house at a closer section of my college. I started reading ahead, and taking notes to make my life easier since I'm due to have a baby a week before finals. I ended up 5 chapters in, when I asked my instructor what models we would need for the practicals(I buy my own models due to difficulty living at the campus for models).
Her response?
The class is probably going to be cancelled due to low enrollment! She's at 4 students out of a possible 20. She needs at LEAST 8 by end of day tomorrow. The number hasn't moved for over a week.
So now, I'm contemplating. Do I drive 1.5 hours to be with my study buddy, and apparently the best AP teacher at the college? Or do I enroll with the difficult instructor who gets lost on her own tangents far too frequently, and gets behind(like having 11 chapters left to cover in 5 weeks behind, after having only gone over 5 chapters in 11 weeks), but is only 30-45 minutes of a drive?
Bah! I'm think of doing the longer drive with the better teacher. Plus, she's only one day a week, which would make this MUCH easier!

Sorry to hear this happened to you. I would also opt for the better instructor in this case.

A similar situation has happened to me in the past. It stinks, I know. I agree with caliotter about going with the better instructor. Like you said, the commute would only be one day a week.
Granted, that one day would be about a 10 hour day, but that's about average if I was doing a normal class at 2 days a week when you add in driving. I definitely think it's worth it. Plus, this teacher is more than happy to work with me on during my pregnancy, and she's even offered to do the final two weeks early if I feel up to it. So I definitely think she is the better option. :)
Thanks for the input.
Edit: I emailed the instructor, and SHE USES THE SAME TEXTBOOK! I didn't waste my time! I'm still 5 chapters in! I'm so happy!
Wonderful news, OP!

I was just going to say "go with the GOOD teacher", but I see that you've already done so. And so glad to see that you have the same book...bonus

Didn't read the entire thread. But was your A&P I mostly anatomy, and then Physiology is the second semester? Doe the nursing school you apply to absolutely require two A&P semesters with labs? If there's anything in the entrance requirements that waffles on whether the second semester MUST have a lab, then I's say find an online A&P II that is the physiology part. I had to dissect CATS in A&P I and II. Let me tell you, I found that offensive. And A cat is not a human, so I also see no need to have to go cut up CATS for TWO semesters. The A&P II lab I took served no purpose whatsoever. Physiology and how the body works is book-learning. You'd get far more out of models of the human body at that point than in cutting up another throwaway cat from some animal shelter that needed to make a buck.
