Veeb 2018-2019

Hello ladies, hope everyone is having a happy new year and is working towards accomplishing goals. I was wondering if anyone plans on attending the LPN program at Veeb this year. I'm taking the entrance examination the 20th of January. I'm so anxious abt school tht I've already applied for financial aid. Is anyone else excited? Any advice from students tht are still attending? Upon graduating how much can a new lpn earn in the first yr?

Hey future LPN's,

Getting more excited by the day. Received date for physical in the mail yesterday. Looking forward to meeting you all and starting class this fall. Just curious where are you all commuting from?

Congratulations. I'm coming from Queens

Hey Treats123,

Congrats to you, also. Traveling from Nassau County.

I hope to meet u in real life.

yessss i go mine to and it will be great to put faces with the people we have been chatting with

coming from queens as well

Congratulations to all future VEEB graduates. It will change your life FOR THE BETTER trust me. I know someone who may possibly start next year so please hold your books so they can be purchased.....although when I graduated from VEEB in 2008 the only book we needed was the AnP workbook. I had AQ (current supervisor) for my Human Development teacher and she was AMAZING. I took the Human Growth Clep 2 weeks after graduating from VEEB and ACED it because of her. You will need that CLEP if you attend Helene (most VEEB graduates end up here). It's the most direct program in NYC to become an RN. The one year experience of working in the nursing home helped me so much at HF. JF who now teaches pharmacology was my clinical instructor and is tough. However SHE KNOWS her stuff.----------------LPNs will never be phased out. They are needed in the nursing home to say the least. However more doors open for you once you become an RN. I wish all of you the best of luck

Hello fellow nurses. I've just received my date to take the physical examination. Soooo excited!!! Did anyone else receive there date??

Yesss I recieved mine!!!

VEEB had the interview process when I started. I remember the counselor telling me it would be eliminated due to not being necessary. Are they asking new students to come in for an interview this year???

No, they're not

Anyone did their physical yet ? Wat is it like

My date is May 23. I don't think there's much to it . It's a doctors visit as any. Make sure you get those shots at your primary physician thou, or else you will have to pay. I have mines ready. Can't wait.
