A Declaratory Order that you need to submit to the BON asap so they can clear you to go to school, you only need it if at any point in your life you have been arrested or charged for a crime or have a substance problem, since you have to pass a background check at the state and fbi lvl, the fbi lvl is more in depth and will look at all records of your fingerprints. You can go look up at the Texas BON to see if you will need to do one, its important that you do one soon if you need to because of the up to 6 month turn around time, you need to clear both background checks for you to start school

Seems like a very thorough answer to the question the fellow classmate asked. I don't see where they assumed anything, and they did a good job explaining what a Declatory Order is.

I'm not doing any assumptions, that was merely for everyone on the thread. I don't want anyone who doesn't know the information to be left in the dark that's all @moisee

Just to see where I think I made an assumption, I forgot to write "is something" before "that you need"..hope that clarifies it better

I believe that the new student guide is the new student checklist? ?? Onthepath? Jules? Can either of you confirm this?

I'm not exactly sure how they decided when to send it out but I know it was about a month and a half after I got my acceptance. It came in an email from Dora Turner.

Yes, thank you Jules. I emailed Dorothy with UTMB, and she said it should be some time next week for the New student guide for Spring 2018 to be posted (use the link Jules posted above).

Congratulations to all of you that have been accepted! And good luck to those with upcoming interviews! I am currently still awaiting an email for an interview invitation.

My overall GPA is 3.0

My science GPA is 3.75

My prerequisite GPA is 3.46 (according to my calculations)

My TEAS Scores are as follows:

Overall 81.3

Reading 83

Math 96.9

Science 74.5

English 70.8

I submitted my application on May 31st (late, I know)

Either way, I am currently missing my elective science. Which course did you guys take to satisfy that prerequisite?

Awesome, it might just be me but I wanna get everything knocked out soon..that way I don't have to stress closer to the start of the semester
