UTMB Spring 2018

Hello everyone! I plan on applying to UTMB for Spring 2018 entry and can't find a post on it, so I decided to make one! I am taking my TEAS end of April. I already have a degree from the University of Houston in Health Communication and minor in Nutrition. I am finishing my last two prerequisites (A&P2, Microbiology) right now at a community college. Anyone else looking to apply? Deadline is coming up next month, so I thought it would be awesome to get a group thread going! Would love to hear from others applying!

Any Chem works for utmb, I myself took intro to Chem and it was accepted. Tells you what you can use when you are doing your transcripts on NCAS

Thanks!

Has anyone been accepted yet? I want to apply for Fall 2018.

Notifications will not start for about 3-4 weeks from the due date which is May 31. For Fall 2017 our due date was mid- January (I believe the 15th) and notifications started rolling in for the first wave around mid-February. Interview invites and acceptances come in waves. Based on the last 3 semesters there are 4 waves and it is done randomly with people being accepted through the entire time.

Finals are quickly approaching for the semester. Just wanted to post a good luck message to everyone! It won't be long now before the process gets going for us 2018 Spring hopefuls...

I took the TEAS VI yesterday for the first time and these are my stats:

Individual Score: 80%

Reading: 91.5

Math: 84.4

Science: 66.0

English 83.3

I'm going to retake to get my science portion higher, but I am so glad the real thing was nothing like the practice test A that I bought from the website, it was 10x harder than the actual test! I am planning to take it again May 24th. Does anyone know if I can upload this score and then just update the more recent score once I take it? Also, do they take the higher of the two?

Good luck to those who haven't taken it yet or will be retaking soon!

They actually take the more recent score from what i know, technically your rated as competitive from your overall. But yes you can upload the score and reupload it later on but it will need to be sent directly to UTMB

Alrighty guys! Since finals are approaching I decided to hurry up and finish my nursing application. I finally submitted everything today. Has anyone received the supplemental package? If so, how long did it take?

When I applied for Fall it came like 2 days later. When I completed my Spring application it came a week and a half or so later.

Thanks! I know they say like 4 weeks, but I knew it would vary. Thanks again!

Well there is one more spot open for Spring 2018 as I was accepted today for Fall 2017! Good luck to everyone!
