UTMB Spring 2018

Out of all of the excitement I almost forgot to send my TEAS scores directly to UTMB! Oppps! Thank goodness I rechecked the list that was online just for the heck of it.

Hi everyone, I was a bit confused seeing that y'all were sending your TEAS scores directly to UTMB, because I had not seen anything about that except to put it in through NursingCAS so I emailed enrollment services and asked if I was needing to send my scores directly to UTMB and this is the message she sent me...

"Good Morning,

No if you are accepted into the program we will download your official scores from ATI ourselves."

Bummer if we didn't have to send them directly, because I just paid 29 bucks to do so!

i was pretty sure they said to send them when that question was brought up during the open house, but who knows things change all the time. Better safe than sorry

@Onthepath91 - True! I also attended an open house (last semester) and they said to send them directly, but some things can change so who knows.

I also paid to have my scores sent directly to UTMB.

Reminder to send NursingCAS your updated transcripts. I will also be sending my updated transcripts electronically to UTMB just to be thorough.

Nursing cas doesn't have to get an updated transcript just fyi, pretty sure it goes only to utmb

I received my acceptance envelope yesterday. The letter you will receive says unless there is an update to your transcripts you do not need to directly send them your transcripts, they will pull it from NursingCas.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a place offering low cost titers? Are they usually covered by medical insurance?

Thank you Onthepath and Jules81. I have updates to my transcipts, so I must update NursingCAS. I couldn't find a solid answer on what to do prior to acceptance, so I thought that sending them directly would cover all the bases!!!

I would think that cvs would possibly be able to do it or a local clinic

I recommend dicussing your options about getting titers covered with your physician, maybe under a physical.
