UTMB Spring 2013

Hey Beth, we met yesterday ....I haven't received anything. She told me that I should hear something by the end of the week. I thought my interview went great but I assumed I would hear something by now based on previous comments. Well i'm going to stay positive and hopefully we hear something by today!!!

She told me the same and I also had the same assumption about hearing sooner rather than later. However, I'm also under the impression that other applicants were being reviewed not just the interviewees from monday so maybe ours didn't come under review yet?!? At least I'm going to tell myself that until I get a response! Lol

It was defintely a rejection letter. I was really looking foward to being part of this class. This is not the news I wanted.

Does anyone know how long it takes for the admin to accept your request on the facebook group?

No mystar is still the same. Green circle. According to the letter Ive been rejected since sept 11 and mystar never changed.

That's sad! You think they would indicate it on there as well so you aren't sitting around waiting!! Good luck in the future.

Hello all, this is my first post, but I have been following for awhile. I was called last week and asked to send an unofficial transcript and was sent an acceptance email today. Congrats to all who have been accepted, and for those who are still waiting good luck. Honestly, I felt my personal statement was rubbish, but that doesn't matter now.

I feel like I had a good/ strong personal statement. My GPA was 2.9, my TEAS score 82.7, I have been working at Texas children's hospital for two years (which I mentioned in my application). I really wish I had gotten accepted but I'm sure God has a better plan.

I'm so sorry dee1388! Keep your head up and never lose hope! God has a plan for everyone!
