You need the Hep B series (3 shots, so start now); a positive Hep B titer; MMR; Tdap; Td; proof of chicken pox or the chicken pox vaccine and a negative TB skin test or negative chest X-rays.

a quick question regarding the shots: if your titer shows you have antibodies for hep.b , do you have to do the 3 shot Hep. B series? Thanks for all the info you have given us so far. Good luck to you in your program.

does anyone knows is there's a time limit on the Hepatitis B vaccine-series. I got mine about 8-9 years ago through work. Is it good for a life-time or is a booster needed? Thanks!

Most people got the Hep B series in 9th grade, myself included. I only had to get the titer and it came back positive. So to answer your question, you do not need the shots again if you have a positive titer.

has anyone heard anything?

I haven't heard anything yet. I've read on old threads that UTMB usually sends the interview notifications via e-mail, and most got to the spam or junk mail...so everyone, be on the look out! Check your spam and junk emails as well...

I called UTMB yesterday and all they said was that my application was still in pending status and they weren't positive when they would start making their decisions..

I talked to a lady today and she said they are reviewing the applications as enrollment services is sending them over. She said as they are reviewed they are going to try to sen out emails. She also said interviews should start at the end of September. Fingers crossed :)

School doesn't start until next week, but thank you.

I think that I received an email on the Monday of Spring break and my interview was for Wednesday of the next week.

Does anyone know the stats on the applications? Like how many applications were received? btw...i still haven't heard anything from utmb yet.
