UTMB Fall 2020

Hey y'all! I will be applying for UTMB SON for fall 2020! I couldn't find a forum for it, so I decided to start one! It is a little early but many of you know it take forever to gather everything needed for the application! Please post all of your questions, stats, etc. SO excited to apply in November!

I saw someone say mid April? Maybe email admissions, I know they have been really good at emailing back lately.

A friend of mine called just recently and was told the next wave could be from April 13th-30th.

I had a 3.9 overall GPA, 4.0 science GPA, 88 TEAS score, no previous degree or hospital experience! Hope that helps!

I got in for the fall 2020 BSN program as well as the BSN programs for Texas A&M and UT Health but I'm having a hard time deciding between where to commit to. Does anyone have any advice on which to pick?

I’m in the same situation as u are. If u don’t mind me asking, Which one did you ended up going too or picking?

I really hate to be this person but for those who haven’t heard back yet, what are your stats? I know I’m not the only one stressing everyday as we wait ?

I know I have very low stats compared to most so I’m with you on this one!!

TEAS- 77.3

Nursing GPA- 3.68

Overall GPA- 3.62

Total admission score (assuming I calculated right)- 31.37

I know that’s super low but I’m very hopeful that it’ll be somewhat enough to get accepted.

TEAS 83.3

nursing GPA 3.6

overall GPA 3.8

I really don't know where this puts me. I know a lot of it depends on your personal statement as I have found they admit a wide range of GPAs

Okay so I completely did not realize I was in UTMB so ignore the admissions score part. But yeah, my friend got accepted into UTMB and she said even if you have a low GPA, the personal statement could be why gets you in.
