UTMB FALL 2015

Hey guys, joining this conversation a little late here, but I received an email earlier today that my transcript had been verified. How soon after that should I receive the supplement question, and will it come via email or on the NursingCAS site? Thanks all and good luck to everyone!

I got supplement questions the very next day or the same day, and it was by email

I just got my mystar info, a day after submitting the supplemental.

I'm so anxious. UTMB is the only school I applied to.

Omg it's so nerve wracking waiting for everything.

So how did you send your TEAS results in? Did you just upload the copy you received at ATI into the NCAS system, or did you pay to have one mailed to them?

You upload your scores into the NursingCAS system. If you took the test through ATI for UTMB, the results are automatically sent to them. If it's through another school, you request to have the results sent to them through ATI.

I received my supplemental application this morning and just submitted it! Hopefully I'll get my mystar information soon and get to play the waiting game with everyone else! Good luck everyone!

I applied for TWU Spring 2015 start and was turned down with a 3.6 GPA and 80 TEAS score. From my understanding, the minimum GPA accepted was 3.8. I am now hoping to get into UTMB for the Fall 2015. I have submitted my application and now we wait. Does anyone have an idea when UTMB sends out the acceptance letters? Good luck all and hope to see some of you in class soon!

I believe they start inviting people for interview in February, maybe in the first two weeks.

I have not taken the HESI before. I will try to take it in the next 2-4 weeks. How long did you study for it? I only studied for a week for the TEAS and made an 80%. The science was so tough. I don't know if I could have ever been prepared for that. I'm going to look into ADN programs today.

I studied for about a 3 1/2 weeks. I just took it Friday and didn't do as well as I wanted to so now I'm not sure if I can even be competitive at UTMB with my score. I may just end up using my HESI scores and applying to those programs that take them. For ADN there is Lone star, HCC, San Jac, Wharton, and College of the Mainland that I know of and will more than likely apply to.

Do you guys know if the Supplemental application is due on January 15 as well? I'll be submitting my NCAS application tonight and was hoping if I would have enough time to get everything sent. Also, I sent my transcripts about a week ago but still havent heard anything, may it be because I still havent submitted my NCAS application?

Supplemental isn't due by jan 15 only NursingCAS app. They usually give about 2-3wks after deadline to get supplemental apps out. You get the supplemental about a day or so after you submit. As long as you have proof your transcripts were sent before the deadline then you are good, they still will verify them and notify you of receipt even if it's after the deadline.
