UTMB FALL 2015

I just received my supplemental application. :)

It took NCAS 5 days to receive my transcript, 2 weeks to verify it, and about a day to receive the supplemental application.

Hey ALynn,

I am applying to UTMB and TWU and PVAMU, and some schools out of state. I'm taking my TEAS Friday ( super nervous !) and still need to finish my personal statement which I want to be awesome. I really want to get into UTMB and have faith that no matter what I'll end up in a great program 😃

Is there anyone who has yet to submit there application? I hate I'm this late but waiting on my TEAS. I'll be submitting my app this weekend.

Which out of state schools are you applying to?

OUHSC in Oklahoma, NSC in Nevada, and Concordia University in California. I have a few others that I may apply to later in the year but really want to attend a Texas school so I am focused on those. What about you?

How stiff is the competition for PVAMU? I might as well apply there too. Just need to take my HESI I guess sometime in February. How is that compared to the TEAS?

I really want to get into UTMB as well. Love the campus and the program.

I didn't submit my personal statement again because I already did it through NCAS.

I heard PVAMU isn't too competitive but the application process is daunting and they are selective. I would apply there and keep your options open, apply anywhere you can. I am even applying to ADN programs just as backups. I feel the HESI is wayyyyyy easier than TEAS. HESI is very straightforward on what you need to know and it's exactly on the test, but it's an 8 section exam that is timed as a whole and not by sections like the TEAS. I suck at standardized test and the TEAS kicked my butt previously. It is very random as far as what you need to know. I am praying for an 80+ on my TEAS Friday because I've studied extremely hard for it. Have you taken the HESI before?

I received my supplemental application too. I hope this is lucky #7 (Jan 7) for all of us.

I just got my mystar info, a day after submitting the supplemental.

I'm so anxious. UTMB is the only school I applied to.
