UTMB FALL 2015

I interviewed today and it went well, but I got an acceptance email at UTHSC in the Houston medical center today. I only have 10 days to accept or decline and I don't want to gamble my chances away if I dont get accepted into UTMB... I think I just might accept... good luck everyone else!!!

I have an interview this Friday, but I'm not even sure if I can afford to keep it anymore. I was accepted to UTHSC in San Antonio, and I have to pay my seat deposit by April 17th. For those who were accepted, how soon after did you hear back? Is it possible to hear something back within a week? I know that they're behind, but I don't want to jeopardize my acceptance at UTHSCSA for a possible acceptance at UTMB. Any advice?

My stats:

96% TEAS

Strong pre-req GPA, strong math and science GPA

-only thing I have going against me is that I did 2.5 years of pre-med with a 3.0 GPA, and really didn't take school seriously, failed 3 classes...but I've worked super hard to redeem myself, got all A's on the pre-req sciences, and I now tutor for anatomy and phys

I think it's been taking everyone about 2 weeks to hear back after an interview so far...

Has anyone still not heard anything from UTMB?

Did you get your acceptance email from UTHSC Houston via your regular email?

For those accepted, were you able to pay the $200 deposit when you initially accepted the acceptance? The account was frozen water I clicked submit, do I have to wait for my login before I pay.

Still nothing... I'm going to start on improving my application for Spring while I'm waiting

I had no problems paying the deposit (it seems it is always easy for me to give money away). A few days after acceptance, I received my new UTMB log in and e-mail.

Hang in there everyone - I think there are still many more interviews and acceptances.
