UTMB FALL 2014

so i've been following this forum for a while now and just decided to post now. my cousin and i applied to both utmb and texas tech abilene, she interviewed since feb, but still haven't heard anything, as for me i just got an interview invite today. on the bright side, we've both already been accepted to texas tech, which is also a 15semester prog like utmb, so either way, we already good. goodluck to everyone else waiting and congrats to those already accepted.

Well after I emailed 5 people, I found out my application is on hold. They basically told me that I basically am declined. They highly advised me to apply for Spring 2015 and retake my TEAS. I'm kind of frustrated for not knowing sooner and that I have had to email the staff several tiimes to get an answer. I applied Jan. 3 and interviewed Feb. 13. They told me 2-4 weeks when it actually took 8 weeks. I have been accepted into Stephen F. Austin & UT Tyler so those are my options at this point.

If you don't mind sharing, why was your application on hold? The people with higher stats seemed to be interviewed all in Feb.

Hello, I'm new to the thread. I am just wondering, those who also got waitlisted for fall and accepted for spring, are you considering accepting admission for spring?

I plan on accepting spring admission yes, I was told official admission letters would not be sent out until June for Spring 2015, and we may still be pulled for fall 2014 admission as well.

@nnp1991 I plan on doing the same. If I hear that a spot becomes available before I get my formal email acceptance for spring, I'll take the spot for fall; otherwise, I'll accept admission for spring

Unless I am mistaken, I believe that you can still be pulled for fall admission after accepting the spring admission?

No. I'm planning on going to UTHSC-Houston if not.

Yeah, they said you can still get a spot up to day two of orientation.

I did not apply for the Fall semester as I had been waitlisted the previous 2 cycles and just needed to regroup. I had got on the forum just to see if UTMB had changed some things, and it looks like not much has changed. I do have a question though, all of you that are saying yall are waitlisted for fall and accepted for spring did this come from the school representitive or just rumor? The reason I ask is because my first wait list we all thought the same that we were automatically accepted for spring. Someone called the school and found out it was a rumor and was not true in the least. So just curious.
