UTMB Fall 2013

I emailed one of the enrollment services people asking how many people applied and how many people were placed on the waitlist and she said there were 700+ applicants and they were not allowed to release information about how many were placed on the waitlist. And then I asked why, because I have heard this response about 20 times now, and she said "It is our policy that it is never released." I don't know if that is true or if that is a newly enforced rule. I have friends that are in programs at UTMB that were placed on the waitlist and they said UTMB told them how many were on the waitlist and what number they were. AND they said they would keep them informed on where they were on the waitlist. This whole waiting thing is stressful.

Has anyone heard anything yet??

Lets just hope that she was just throwing a figure out there lol, I asked "generally how long are the waitlists", and that's the response I got, but we'll see. And did they tell you that they've accepted 8 waitlisted people?

Yeah, I called and they said they've taken 8 people off the list and this goes up till after orientation. so who knows, we may still have a chance!

I must be talking to the wrong people or asking the wrong questions. Whenever I call I can never get any kind of answer to any of my questions. But lets pray that there is still hope!!

I got an email (: you should call them! Ask how many people they've taken off of the waitlist and when are they gonna stop accepting. Because my friend who graduated from Utmb said they take people until the first week of class.
