Also on the wait list and applied for spring 2014! Today is the first day of class....

Has anyone found out how many more people have been taken off the wait list?

I must be talking to the wrong people or asking the wrong questions. Whenever I call I can never get any kind of answer to any of my questions. But lets pray that there is still hope!!

I emailed one of the enrollment services people asking how many people applied and how many people were placed on the waitlist and she said there were 700+ applicants and they were not allowed to release information about how many were placed on the waitlist. And then I asked why, because I have heard this response about 20 times now, and she said "It is our policy that it is never released." I don't know if that is true or if that is a newly enforced rule. I have friends that are in programs at UTMB that were placed on the waitlist and they said UTMB told them how many were on the waitlist and what number they were. AND they said they would keep them informed on where they were on the waitlist. This whole waiting thing is stressful. Has anyone heard anything yet??

This may be a silly question, but do you think UTMB would call from an unknown or blocked number? Or would they just call from a regular (409) phone number?

2000 students??!! On the waitlist! Holy Cow! Are they still not releasing wait list rankings?

Good Luck to you too!! Yeah I'm just super anxious about the whole thing. This is my last chance for Fall so I'm wigging out a little. Do you know if we should be expecting a call or an email? and also do you know why UTMB isn't allowed to tell us what number we are on the wait list? That seems a little silly and unfair to me to be honest, but idk.

I can't beleive I'm just now joining this site. I was google searching info on the UTMB waitlist and this discussion board came up. I am on the UTMB waitlist and I am going crazy with this waiting!!! Definitely could use some kind of support or understanding in my anxiousness. Has anyone that was waitlisted heard anything from UTMB yet?
