UTMB Fall 2013

Hello! I searched the site and seen no one made a topic about the people trying to enter in Fall 2013 so here is it  I am applying to UTMB for Fall 2013. I've written my personal statement and filled in the application. Now i'm waiting on nursing CAS to receive all my transcripts and to take my TEAS test on Jan. 8. I'm so nervous. How is everyone else coming along?

What does "inconsistent with immunity" mean? I got that on my hep B titer and I was wondering if I had to repeat the whole series again for Utmb?

I was reading back a couple pages and saw this. Yes you need to repeat the series or, depending on what your doctor might say, get a booster. After the booster you can get the titer 4-6 weeks later. But I would go ahead and get one or the other done. I think as long as you have 2 shots by the time the semester starts you will be ok.... but you may want to call student health and ask what it means and what needs to be done before school starts. Hope this helps!

Thanks a lot! I restarted the series and they said it was Okay.

ok, I wanted to let you know since the exact same thing happened to me lol.

I dont know how there is 2000 if a typo 200 on the waiting list because someone told me in like April that there were around 700 applicants. Even 200 on the waiting list seems excessive honestly

I don't think anyone REALLY knows ;P

This is very true I think they like leaving it a big confused mess sometimes

Wow, some of yall's GPAs were a lot better than mine. I was accepted March 27th, with a 3.3 overall GPA, but with a 91% on the TEAS. Guess that TEAS score saved me! Lol. I really hope y'all hear back soon! Good luck!

Yeah your TEAS score is phenomenal! Congratulations!

2000 students??!! On the waitlist! Holy Cow! Are they still not releasing wait list rankings?
