UTMB Fall 2013

Well some acceptance letters said they had to be accepted by June 14th so if some of those students decline their offer then more acceptances will be sent out. Plus, I don't think they are done with acceptances anyway. Someone posted that Enrollment Services told them "a few more weeks." As for the denial on MyStar I think it stays as the green circle and then once denials go out you will no longer have access to MyStar, but I'm not for certain.

can i lead a march on UTMBG? lol! i got into SHSU, TT, UT Arlington, MHB and im dying to hear back from UTMBG. im already planning an apt and everything to go to Sam Houston.... but like.... im kind of in limbo waiting on Galveston to get back. makes me question a little the school in general if they are having SUCH an issue simply getting people accepted!! i already had a call back from the UTA waiting list before these guys sent me ANYTHING

I'm right behind you! LOL... I got into UTA ages ago as well and they are totally on top of everything.

If you guys got in somewhere else, stop relying on UTMB. Pick one and go there. If you keep waiting, you'll just have less time to prepare for the fall. The only reason you should be waiting for their decision is if you didn't get in anywhere else or if none of the other programs are a BSN. You guys have great opportunities in front of you!

I just got off the phone with UTMB and they are still working on acceptances and the waitlist. She said they are trying to have everything out by the end of the week!

Hi all! I'm a second semester nursing student at UTMB! Reading y'alls forum brings back all of the anxiety and excitement of the "waiting game" lol. Congrats to all that have been accepted and welcome to the UTMB family :)

For those of you still waiting... patience is key! Coming to UTMB you will learn a lot about FLEXIBILITY! I have classmates that were brought in/accepted the second day of orientation! Calling and emailing will not speed up their decision making time at all. I went to a meeting today for the Welcome Weekend in August and he said they are still waiting on the final list of people... so be patient. Let me know if you have ANY questions.

Thank you for your info. Do you know how many seats for this fall 2013? What is the school's standard of picking the applicants (I mean what is the qualification normally in order to get in the program?) Thanks a lot.

Each semester the traditional program admits 100-130 students.

I'm so sorry to hear that so many of you are still waiting I completely understand your frustration!! This is not a typical wait time.
