UTHSCSA Fall 2018

That's what the guy said when i called Thursday:( he said they were currently being reviewed. I'm also reserving my spot!

Waiting with the rest of you...just thought I'd say Hi! I was accepted into the accelerated program but I had to decline because I couldn't start in May at the time. It took about 6 1/2 weeks for our acceptance letters to be emailed and they sent them at 7:30 PM. Just to give y'all a time table. :)

Have you scheduled the background check for uiw? Does anyone know if we do it for a program, but decide to attend another if we'd have to re-do the background check or it will be good for all?

I haven't scheduled the background check yet but I'm going to. I think it's just for the school though

I called today and they said sometime next week. They said it takes 8 weeks to process. And it's still being processed lol

UT said sometime next week they'll have decisions? I called again today and got the April 2nd date also. I need to decide soon to reserve my spot at TLU. I hate that they have us waiting so long. It's so hard to at art moving forward! Good luck to everyone!

That's the answer i got.. he sounded sick or something. Maybe confused? Idk, but he said sometime next week and it could take up to 8 weeks total. (April 2nd). I know what you mean... i reserved my spot with UIW. But, I'm curious with UTHSCSA and why they are taking so long

Aww yes me too! Like I just need to know so I can move forward. If you do get into UT are going to withdraw your acceptance from UIW? I feel like that will be hard to do too. It's all a roller coaster.

I honestly don't know what I would do. I know my parents want UTHSCSA because of pricing but i get scholarships that make UIW comfortable with pricing. So, I'd really have to choose which one I'd go to. What about you???

I am not sure either. TLU is small and friendly and I really like that. I know UT is a good school but it's so much bigger. I guess I'll just have to wait and see if I even get in. Gee I wish they had these results out.

I heard TLU is a good school... i didn't have all the pre-reqs for them. I was off by spanish for healthcare and speech. So i didn't apply. I live like 10 miles from the school though lol
