UTA Spring 2020

you should. I think applications for fall 2020 close january 15 so id start prepping for that! ?

Mine's either going to be a 6.8 or a 7.1 depending on how well I do in Microbiology ?

Overall: 3.35

Science: 3.0 or 3.25

1 consideration (prev bachelor's)

I'm hesitant to even apply at this point lol

with that score u have a better chance on -campus....There are people with 3-4 considerations and GPA close to to 8 combined ( i hope not too many tho) but I also have 3 considerations and am worried that somebody working for a hospital will get in front of me with a lower score...ughh

I don't know how the partnered hospital works. I work for one of the other campuses of the partnered hospital but not the hospital that the clinicals will take place at. Does that count as working at a partnered hospital or no?

Miss Webb told me that as long as you get a paycheck from one of the listed "partners" hospitals, you are considered partnered...

Is there a list somewhere or do we just need to ask the advisors?

I’m late to this thread and also a bit thick about some of the terminology. What is the point system that you guys are referring to...like 7 being good enough, etc? I just want to check what mine is. Also, what does “partnered” mean? Anyway, I applied for spring 2020. I was accepted for fall 2019 and messed up my Hep B. ?

Hi, can you please share what is your GPS as well. I am pretty worry about my GPS and I don't have consideration. Do you have a considaration?

Overall GPA 3.5 and science GPA 3.5.

Do you think that I hava a little chance to get acceptence?

The point system is out of 10, first 8 is from overall gpa + science gpa, the rest of the 2 points are from the considerations. All of this info is on the AO BSN website. I think people have been saying that having 8+ points is competitive or if you are employed at a partnered hospital (advisors can provide the list) it's supposedly "golden ticket" lol not sure though I haven't applied yet

yes, u do have a chance, especially if you are partnered with a hospital, but it depends a lot on location - about clinicals, how many ppl are applying, average score etc....I know a girl who was waitlisted for the fall 19 with 7.4 and a cpl of months later was IN. However, I ve heard advisers saying (not to me ) that u ll need at least 8, in order not to worry, but at same time if there are a lot of ppl partnered and 7.5, they might get IN ahead of you, if you have an 8 and not partnered.....its in God's hands....
