I say think positive! I'm not sure about the online scores but I do know its tough. a 7.9-8 is a great score. I'm not sure what the average normally is.

you've heard that for online or on campus? my advisor told me to shoot for anything over 7.5 to be in a good position to be selected. a lot of my friends from on campus got in with high 7's.

I feel like you have a great chance of getting in for on campus! when It comes to on campus, they really just look at our composite scores! my advisor @ Uta said to shoot for anything over a 7.5

YES!!! I am definitley getting my immunizations done (this week actually)! I have heard about a lot of drops due to issues with shot records! Well here's an update on my score! (I am applying on campus btw) my overall composite score is going to be a 7.63! I passed my TEAS with flying colors btw. I know the score doesn't matter at UTA, but since I'm applying to Texas Women's University as well, I wanted to have a more competitive score on that. So to answer the questions above: UTA no longer accepts the HESI, just the TEAS. I actually heard a lot of schools are wanting to transition into the TEAS. Anyone taking Patho online this summer19? I'm taking pharm on campus fall of 2019

    UTA Spring 2020

Hi everyone! I figured I'd start a thread for UT Arlington's BSN Spring 2020 applicants! First off let me start by sharing a few things: - UTA nursing school acceptance is based off a composite system that consists of your SCIENCE GPA (Anatomy & Phys 1, Anatomy & Phys 2, Microbiology, Chemistry), OVERALL GPA, and Considerations. - also, TEAS scores don't affect your acceptance into the nursing program, unless you don't meet their requirements of course. I'm taking mine this Friday so I'll let y'all know how that goes.. also side note: Considerations depend on wether you're applying to the online or on campus. We can only apply to either or.. As of right now, I have 3 considerations: - military veteran - 30 hours at UTA - 3 out of 4 sciences at UTA I won't know my official science GPA or overall GPA until after this semester ends....
