UTA Spring 2012

Alas! Here I go again!;) This thread is dedicated to all hopefuls to either of the programs- AP or traditional. Let's partake in the sharing of ideas, suggestions, and/or insight in the "intricacies" of this nursing program. Former grads, new or current students are encouraged to chat. Knowledge is power, indeed! Continued blessings and success to all! Good Luck!:D

Has anyone taken the path final? I am taking it tomorrow and wanted to know what I would need to focus more of my attention on when reviewing all of the RRD's. Thanks!

For those of you in online pharm - I posted the question - when will our pharm final be graded...seriously, the thing is electronic...does it really take that long to grade...Ughhh this course - it will be the death of me! Thank the lord that it's my last prereq...now I sit and wait...

@BJBAILEY...I posted that question in the forum and my coach responded earlier with "it's going to take a while for grades to be released in your Mymavs" just wanted to give everyone a heads up...praying it's not too long!!

I can't remember who all on here works for Cook Children's but I would like to ask you a couple questions if you could PM I would really appreciate that!!! ;) Thanks!

on the Pharm final MAKE SURE you remember to study Chapters 36 and 37 and also Module 13, in addition to exams 1-5. This is stated on the course calendar by week 9 (I think). This is extra stuff that we have NOT been tested on yet. I confirmed with Ms Todd that this stuff will be on the final. Since the final counts as 25% of our overall grade I don't want anyone to not see that extra stuff and have a shock on the final. We have had enough "surprises" in this class! For the Patho final, I am just going off of everything she listed as study tools. Her podcasts are extremely helpful for concepts you're unclear about. I am curious if previous quizzes will be of any help???

I just studied my readings because I did not want to overwhelm myself with so much. Have you taken your patho FE yet?

@tejas03

I work at Cook Children's. How can I help?

@AvJK...I have an interview on Thursday at the HEB pedi clinic and was wondering if you knew anything about this clinic or what I could expect during the interview? The lady that set it up stated there would be at least 4 people in the interview and I'm just trying to do my research on the clinic. Thanks for any thoughts or advice!! :)

@tejas03

I work in the hospital and live in Arlington, so I know nothing about that clinic. What is the position? Probably will ask a lot of scenario-based questions.

@AvJK...ok no problem! It's for a clinic LVN so I'm all prepared for the scenario type questions...I'm really excited and looking forward to going back to work. I also live in Arlington...small world! ;)

Hey fellow pharm students....just received post in the discussion boards from our coach that pharm final grade will be released at midnight!! whoohoo!! (I'm guess she thought I was asking when final grade for class would be released earlier today when she said it would be a while.) Anyway, so happy to know it won't be long before we know for sure how the final went...

Sounds great!! I guess I'll stay up to see how I did. :):)

Whoohoo...pharm final grades have been posted!! ;) So thankful this class is over!!
