UTA Fall 2016

I'm in Houston but on the waiting list

is everyone that is on the wait list, share similar stats? i am asumming so considering we are ranked and all ended up on the wait list. better than being not accepted! hopefully we all start hearing something soon after April 1st. I know for previous semester some have said people get called up until a week before orientation, praying we don't have to wait that long!

I got waitlisted with 4.0 science, 3.1 overall and 1 consideration.

I was wait listed for the online program. Didn't apply to campus version.

If my non-science was higher, I feel like I would've had a better chance at a straight acceptance, but I'm happy to at least have chance at wait list. We'll see. Congrats to everyone accepted so far, and good luck to us on the wait list! Hopefully we don't have to wait too long.

We should be fine my case is that I'm taking intro to nursing now and I thinking that might have affect my acceptance status I will be taking pharm and patho for summer. I don't know who else is in the same boat with me. The send us back ground information what if you do it and you will still not be accepted?

I have finished intro to nursing but am taking patho and pharm this summer. I believe if we go ahead and do it, it will still be valid if we apply for the next term. not sure on that though but for sure go ahead and do it so you can be prepared incase you get called

off!

I received my email at 1751. I was accepted into the BSN AO Program. Congrats to everyone who has also been accepted and the best of wish for those on the wait list. In other news, test 3 for PHARM 3365 opens Sunday. Reality has officially set back in... Back to the books it is.

I was accepted to the AP online program. Congrats to all those who were also accepted, and best of luck to those waitlisted and still trying!! I have a feeling I was treading on the edge of either getting in or not, as competitive as it is, so I'll count my blessings. In case anyone is wondering to compare, here were my stats when I applied:

Overall GPA: 3.41

Science GPA: 3.75

HESI: 368 / 92

I'm also currently taking Pharma and have to take Patho this summer ... so yes, like 'new dream nurse' said, back to the books and reality it is! I'm in Dallas also.

I was wait listed for online, did not apply for on campus. From talking to my advisor, the only items used for ranking are GPA, science GPA, partnered or not partnered, and considerations.

SCIENCE GPA 3.67

2 considerations including current bachelor's degree in psychology

I believe those of us not partnered have the biggest battle against each other since partnered applicants are considered first and then are competing only against other partnered applicants from their partner location.

We should exchange notes: I'm taking Patho right now, and Pharm this summer!!

Thanks everyone for posting your stats! I am currently wait listed for the online program. I did not apply for campus option since I cannot drive that far everyday. It seems that most of the people who were accepted are partnered.
