I attempted to take both at the same time this summer. I just dropped patho last week. I found it extremely difficult to juggle both. However, I also work full time. I also wanted to get in sooner and actually had to withdraw my position from the waitlist to start in August. I was very upset about that but the courses are too essential to nursing to not completely grasp or fail.

Thank you so much! that helped greatly! i did my fingerprints a couple of weeks ago but recently moved from San Antonio to the Dallas area. now I am worried my blue card got lost in the mail.. any idea who I should contact? once I do receive the blue card I just need to keep it in a safe place until UTA requests it? thank you again!

I have done my fingerprints already, is there anything else I need to do right now? Not sure what the blue card is you are referring to. If you could help, that would be great!

I agree completely wanttobernklt! My GPA and science GPA are very similar to yours and I was wait listed as well. I have a feeling if we were partnered it would be easier. I don't want to feel discouraged because academically our GPA's are great, the program is just very competitive. I am appreciative to be on the wait list and I am praying for a good end result! I have finished intro to nursing but am taking patho and pharm this summer. I believe if we go ahead and do it, it will still be valid if we apply for the next term. not sure on that though but for sure go ahead and do it so you can be prepared incase you get called off!
