I attempted to take both at the same time this summer. I just dropped patho last week. I found it extremely difficult to juggle both. However, I also work full time. I also wanted to get in sooner and actually had to withdraw my position from the waitlist to start in August. I was very upset about that but the courses are too essential to nursing to not completely grasp or fail.

Thank you so much! that helped greatly! i did my fingerprints a couple of weeks ago but recently moved from San Antonio to the Dallas area. now I am worried my blue card got lost in the mail.. any idea who I should contact? once I do receive the blue card I just need to keep it in a safe place until UTA requests it? thank you again!

WanttobeRNKLT I am wait listed as well but want to make sure I have taken all the correct steps so far incase I am called off the wait list. I have done my fingerprints already, is there anything else I need to do right now? Not sure what the blue card is you are referring to. If you could help, that would be great!

I agree completely wanttobernklt! My GPA and science GPA are very similar to yours and I was wait listed as well. I have a feeling if we were partnered it would be easier. I don't want to feel discouraged because academically our GPA's are great, the program is just very competitive. I am appreciative to be on the wait list and I am praying for a good end result! I have finished intro to nursing but am taking patho and pharm this summer. I believe if we go ahead and do it, it will still be valid if we apply for the next term. not sure on that though but for sure go ahead and do it so you can be prepared incase you get called off!

is everyone that is on the wait list, share similar stats? i am asumming so considering we are ranked and all ended up on the wait list. better than being not accepted! hopefully we all start hearing something soon after April 1st. I know for previous semester some have said people get called up until a week before orientation, praying we don't have to wait that long!

Jess422, do you mind sharing your HESI score? I have very similar GPA's to you as well as no considerations. However, I was wait listed for online. I believe it is due to my HESI score not being as high as others. Congrats on your acceptance! :)

Hoping we should ALL hear by Friday at the latest! This is what the advising office told me today. At this point, I am thinking it will probably be closer to Friday if not, actually on Friday. Every time I check my email, I hope to see something!

I don't think we should worry about codes or writing being next to the partnership organization. I don't think its any indication of anything (yet). I believe the header portion of the degree plan evaluation just lists certain stats, such as if you are a dual applicant, veteran BSN, etc. However, I may be completely wrong.

I have "partnership org" listed but no code that follows. I just called the advising office and a lady said we should all here something by Friday and if you don't to contact your advisor. She said she was originally told the 23rd (as we were told) but now she heard it was extended till Friday.

Thank you for the information Beth0504. I almost wish they never told us a date range because knowing it and expecting it, is killing my nerves! I wonder if they are trying to email everyone's decision letters today or just start the process and if it depends on the academic advisors?
