I just got a call back today from my advisor, and have been offered (and accepted) a spot in the online program (with the THR scholarship program)!

You bet. Obviously no guarantee, but they should be at a point now that they CAN start calling off people given the past deadlines. Hoping they stick with that, so we don't have to wait any more than necessary. :)

Good luck to all the fellow applicants that got waitlisted! I had an in-person appt with my advisor this past Thursday, and she confirmed that the first call-offs from the wait list would likely start this week. Don't get discouraged if you don't hear anything immediately or this week...from what I hear, call offs can continue for a good long while. Crossing my fingers that I get the good news (and somewhat soon)!

Past experience with friends (when I was working on my first degree at UTA [finance; 2008-2012]) as well as past threads from previous semesters/rounds leads me to think a "fair amount" of wait list folks do get offers later on. But that's obviously speculative & there's no guarantee. Unfortunately for us applicants, they don't provide any info on number they wait list, nor have I ever seen any info suggesting how many are put on wait list.

I was wait listed for the online program. Didn't apply to campus version. 4.0 science 3.222 non-science 3 considerations not partnered If my non-science was higher, I feel like I would've had a better chance at a straight acceptance, but I'm happy to at least have chance at wait list. We'll see. Congrats to everyone accepted so far, and good luck to us on the wait list! Hopefully we don't have to wait too long.

Waiting list... Better than denied, of course. But now just more waiting.

I agree. All speculative. All we can do is wait. And wait. And wait some more...... lol

I have a number & hospital on mine, but I am not partnered. I did not select that I am partnered in the application, either. For me (personally), the only "connection" my application has with Texas Health is the THR scholarship I "qualified" & indicated interest for.

Anxious is right. Haven't been able to focus on school or work at all since Friday. Non-stop checking my email & wondering when we'll all hear.

Hmmm...I just went to my Degree Plan Evaluation (logged into MyMav --> 'Self Service' drop down --> 'Degree Plan Evaluation'). Once I opened my "application" & it lists all the courses, GPA's, etc, next to 'Partner Org', there's a number + 'Texas Health Resources' next to it. That may or may not mean anything. I didn't look previously, but I was also eligible for the program through Texas Health that would pay for my nursing program (for applicants who already have a degree in something else...was available as a "check box" during the nursing application process; I applied AP BSN only). So that may or may not have any significance as far as admissions/acceptance goes (at least in my case). If it was someone OTHER than Texas Health, I may think more of it. But not sure.

They'll be sending emails. The waiting game is eating away at my sanity.
