UTA Fall 2016

I'm currently finishing up all my Lower Division science pre-reqs. After this semester I will only need Micro and then the 3 Pre-nursing classes. I plan on taking Micro for winter-mester.I talked to an advisor over the summer but she was fairly new to the department. I am wondering when would be the best time to start studying for the HESI and to apply?

I don't have the newest books, I took those classes about 5 years ago, so mine would be a little outdated. I suggest you go to Chegg dot com and rent them there, it's super cheap.

I have a 92 HESI score, a 3.75 science GPA and a 3.5 prerequisite GPA. From anyone who has been accepted into the program, what are my chances of getting in??

Question about the HESI. When you take it do you get your results automatically? How does UTA get ahold of them?

I had about the same GPA as you do when I applied. I got waitlisted for about a month then got offered the admission to the program. I think the the average GPA that they would accept is 3.6 or so.

So I would say yes, you do have a high chance of getting in.
