UTA Fall 2016

Hello all! I'm starting a thread for Fall 2016 BSN on-campus and online programs. Please feel free to share where you are in your application process and/or any questions you might have.

    I just got called off of the waitlist for the off campus program (AO or AP). I do not know what clinical sites are available but at least I am in now. What a stress relief!! Hopefully more waitlisters will get called this week.

    Overall GPA 3.56 Science GPA 3.67 (these are what my GPAs were at time of the application which is what they use, I believe, and do not update it with more current GPA)

    2 considerations Already have Bachelor's degree in psychology

    12 credit hours at UTA in science already when application was submitted

    I'm nervously excited. I got a call from my advisor (she NEVER calls me) around 3:00 this afternoon. She said she had a question for me. She said call her back, as she'd be there for quite a bit longer, then she'll be out until Tuesday. I left her a message a couple hours ago. Prayers she calls with good news!

    Do we have to take the hesi to be accepted? No one has told me that I needed to take it. I took it years ago. I'm on provisional status and my advisor said I'll know what classes I need to take a few weeks into my first class. I would like to know now because I'm also thinking about GCU.

    Hello all I am starting August 22 with Contemporary Math 15 week course with English 1302 which is 8 weeks.If anyone has taken both of these together it would be nice to get some feedback

    Yes the HESI is a requirement

    I am starting RN-BSN this Fall as well. I am in N. Dallas/Richardson area.

    I am only signed up for one class: Technical Writing for this first 5 weeks.
