UTA Fall 2013

I was offered Longview and Denison just yesterday:)) I live in DFW as well, and that's why I chose Denison which is closer. I guess you were next on the list that's why you got Longview. It is quite a drive but if I wasn't offered Denison I would go with Longview as well. I wouldn't want to take my chances and wait for the opening in DFW. Good luck!

I have not received anything yet. I emailed clinical coordinator,and she said to wait for the email. I'm a little nervous too:)

I know someone in DFW going to longview you maybe can coordinate with but she may be primarily flying to longview

Anyone decided what they are going to do about the book bundle? idk if I should just buy the $908 combined ebook and textbook or just buy the books separately on my own

It is about 2 1/2 hrs for me from Frisco/Plano area. I will be driving.

I would atleast wait for the online orientation before trying to buy the books separately. A lot of online classes have specific add-ons that can be super expensive if you buy them separately. You don't want to spend more than you have to.

I agree! I'm not buying anything until after orientation. :-)

i think its about 3hrs... but driving that far when your not use to it is risky

thanks for the insightful response. I've put everything in various online carts but I'm just scared that things are gonna become unavailable/sold out seeing as how the orientation is in august!

There is an online orientation for the program June 17th.

Where are y'all seeing the updated booklist? The coordinators said they are working on it in the last email I got from them. Does that mean they're changing editions or something from the spring 2013 list?
