  1. All our textbooks are pageburst only, so I hope so. They have a lot of trial books you can play around with for free.
  2. I was trying to get through it so I could enroll this month, but since it's not possible till mid august (drug screen), there isn't any point.
  3. Finished everything but drug screen and immunization records. Need to get a hep B titer.
  4. The list on the academic partnership website is a sample, so they may be updating it. The bookstore and the other online vendor for the semester book package have nothing listed.
  5. There is an online orientation for the program June 17th.
  6. I would atleast wait for the online orientation before trying to buy the books separately. A lot of online classes have specific add-ons that can be super expensive if you buy them separately. You don't want to spend more than you have to.
  7. "Current UTA undergraduate student uniforms are navy blue scrubs with a UTA insignia patch sewn on the left upper sleeve of scrub top. White long or short sleeved turtleneck or crew neck T-shirts without logos or advertisements may be worn under scrub shirts." I believe the UTA bookstore sells them, or you can just buy the patch and find navy scrubs at walmart or online.
  8. Did they say how many people applied and how many were accepted?
  9. What do you mean by not partnered anymore? They are still clinical sites atleast for our cohort.
  10. I'm sure there will be a large gradient of experience. I have quite a bit, but I'm sure a lot will have next to no experience. It's these different backgrounds that make the program successful.
  11. I took the online class. I read the first few chapters, as they're fairly important. Once it got into specifics about the drugs, I only read the RRD and then used the book as a supplement. I also didn't fill out her drug templates as they were too large to study from. Now that I'm gearing up for starting in the fall, I'm going back and modifying her drug templates, so all the information on a drug fits on a single page, and filling them in with pertinent information.
  12. It's about $300 every semester after. You just have to buy a lot up front.
  13. http://academicpartnerships.uta.edu/documents/BSN_Nursing_Textbooks_Junior1.pdf The ISBN numbers from the above sample booklist all seem to link to Pageburst, which is part of Evolve. These are the sample videos they have. Pageburst - More About It
  14. So is anyone thinking about buying/using an ipad for the required e-textbooks? The promo videos say almost any tablet or computer is compatible, but it seems to be designed for the ipad.
  15. I seem to remember people asking to sleep in vacant on call rooms at the hospital to save money.
