UT Houston Summer 2010 Accelerated Program

Hello All,

I am currently in the process of trying to get into the UT Houston Summer 2010 Accelerated program. I am not sure if there is a thread already started. But if there is not one I would like to start one. Hopefully we can use this thread and keep up with one another. Who else is hoping to get into UT Houston's Summer 2010 Accelerated program?

Is anyone currently taking classes at HCC? I'm a little worried that my grades won't be submitted in time for my transcript to be sent out for me to register for classes. Apparently grades don't have to be submitted by teachers until like May 17th...

I'm taking 3 classes at HCC right now. In the interview she said it shouldn't be a problem, but I guess we'll see...

Im taking 1 class at MCC in Waco. I think there are enough spots for every Bacc2 student in all the classes. I think as long as they get there in a timely manner, i dont think there will be a problem. But I'd call the registrar just to make sure.

Has anyone started getting their immunization records together?

i am also taking classes at hcc but i don't think there's gonna be any problem with our grades. usually prof. put up grades in advance and i know for sure that the graduation date is may 15, so i am pretty sure we'll have our grades before then.

and for the immunization and other holds, i have no clue what i need to do :)

I am also taking 2 online classes at HCC but I don't think we'll have a problem. The rep from the interview told me the accelerated program starts May 24th and our grades should be in by then! Just barely!

I think most of us are in the same boat as far as taking classes this semester. I'm taking 2 classes at Lone Star and the schedule is about the same, so hopefully it won't be an issue. I'm trying to keep up with everyone on here...I can't join the Facebook group yet, I have some Facebook friends from work and they aren't aware of my plans just yet...
