UT Houston Summer 2010 Accelerated Program

Hello All,

I am currently in the process of trying to get into the UT Houston Summer 2010 Accelerated program. I am not sure if there is a thread already started. But if there is not one I would like to start one. Hopefully we can use this thread and keep up with one another. Who else is hoping to get into UT Houston's Summer 2010 Accelerated program?

I have no back up plan...eeeek. I just figure I will apply again in the Spring. I hate the wait because it seems like my life is on hold. Cant make any big decisions to find a better paying job or on getting pregnant until I know what is going to happen with school. LOL

LoveTexas, you can check the fall 2010 thread to see if they are still interviewing. I think they are interviewing all of the fall applicants now. I also applied to UTMB but really want to get in to UT Houston. I will be happy if they accept me for the accelerated program or fall admission. Anything! March will be here very soon...but not soon enough!!

Bach09 you and I are in the same boat with what decisions we are going to make in the near future. Ladykee it's good you at least have a back up plan. All my eggs are in one basket. But I do know that we are automatically considered for the fall admissions and I even asked them to consider me for the new Pacesetters program.

I got into TCU's Accelerated BSN program! I'm really excited that I'm in a program, but hoping to get into UT's program since it is so much more affordable. The wait is killing me--good luck to everyone!

Hey girlie, I'm glad u got in that program...I'm a nervous wreck just waiting! I really hope I get in any program this year because like Bach09 said, I'm tired of putting my life on hold!

Has anyone heard anything yet?

My interview is Wednesday, so interviews are still going on! However, the registrar messed up my transcript evaluation, so I think I may be an exception to the rule. I'm so nervous! Any clues as to what I should be prepared for?

Just so you guys know. I attended an accelerated program interview today and was told that admissions packets would not be sent out until April 1st. This doesn't mean that they won't send them out earlier, but I just thought you guys might like to know.

:yeah:How did it go? God these people are playing with my emotions! lol...I have been on pins and needles until March...and now it might be April? ugh!:mad:

I think it went really well! I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much yet though haha. I was disappointed to hear the april decision date also! I'm so ready to know!

Oh my goodness and here I was so excited it was March 3 lol
