update:pass NET!!!!/ now an interview how do i dress:)

I wore dress pants and a dress shirt with small heeled shoes, and my hair pulled back. Dressy casual I guess. I don't know if that helps any.

Well i got my NET results!!! they said my result were really good , and that i was still in advance standing and i got an interview on june 29, i think i am first to get interviewed, Do u guys think that was a bad mistake to be first interviewed. i told dh oh my now i got to stress over that, my dh said u be fine.

My only problem i have is that i was told it was a professional interview, so does that mean it has to be stocking etc, Are would a cute shirt with a calf length skirt with some sandal pumps be ok :imbar . I don't know how to do interviews anymore, i use to do competion on interviewing when i was in FHA in high school, loll but that was a long time ago, so if the inteview process is the same as it was then that mean a nice pants or dress suit with stocking and pumps, not to much makeup, acessories etc., BUt it in the 90 and 100's here so i am dreading a suit, loll

I wore a summer dress and put a lightweight suit jacket over it. Low heels and hose, necklace and small earrings. Light lip gloss and blush on cheeks. Hair neat. That was it. :)

congrats on your interview! I had mine this morning and I wore a 3/4 sleeve button up shirt and a balck skirt that came just below my knees and black sandal slides w/ a small heel. Compared to the others that I saw there, I was one of the ones that dressed more business than casual.

Casual but conservative with GOOD shoes - not fancy but good. It is an old saying that you can tell the type of person by thier shoes and a lot of interviewers still look at a person's feet. So make sure your shoes are not scuffed and look neat - not too high or "fru fru". Hope that helps.

Smart... as said above.. small earrings, simple necklace which speaks for itself... low heel shoes (clean!).. smart watch.. (not too much jewelry!)... you get the picture. You can pull it off! The go in with CONFIDENCE and a quick and easy smile.. firm handshake (not a cold, limp, fish) and keep eye contact !

General advice from an HR standpoint - clean and neat is always best. I never wear open toed shoes to interviews until I know the dress code...some places are still funky about toes showing LOL!

I normally wear a conservative black set that has black pants, white shirt and black waist length jacket. It is slimming too which is always helpful! I think it is slimming anyway!

I think anything that is neat and clean and well put together is good. Be it a dress, a skirt, a pantset, whatever. i would avoid shorts, capris and minis until you know the dress code, otherwise I think you have a great bunch of suggestions here! GOOD LUCK!!!!
