Have you taken the TEAS?

Yes , I scored 66 ? but going to retake it this 30th. My brain is already fried between the Spring classes , CNA school and this TEAS.
I'm with you. I had the virus while taking the TEAS last month, but God was gracious because I was able to finish the test. I didn't do well on the Reading part because I was way too nervous, and of course English is not my primary language. Got a 63.8 on the Reading but did really good on the other sections
Im sorry to hear that, are you OK now ? And yes God is good! I struggled with reading and science. English is not my primary also. I'm worried I might not get in to the program ?. I really want to start asap and I really don't want to take the TEAS again. I'm mentally and emotionally exhausted
Yes, I'm fully recovered. You will be just fine. I think UIW looks at the over GPA, Proficient score on the TEAS, and interview. I'm a horrible test-taker and get too nervous. I could barely click on the mouse when I took the test, and couldn't comprehend what I was reading. It was my 2nd attempt and like you, I was mentally drained, and expensive too.
Lord willing we'll both get accepted. Right now I'm taking Chemistry II and there are 21 aspiring nursing students in my class. All smart.

Hello, I stumbled upon this thread while I was looking for some information about the UIW nursing school acceptance rate. Thought it was something worth looking into.
Like both of you; I too took the TEAS and got a 68 which is in the proficient category my GPA is above the 2.5 just barely because that biochem class is not easy at all and this pandemic didn’t help. Also, @Mimzmac very glad that you are a COVID-19 survivor and that your doing well. I got all my paperwork and nursingcas application submitted about 2 weeks ago. I am just a ball of nerves right now and would like to have some support from people who are also applying.

Hey y’all! Did you guys get an acceptance/rejection email yet?
Hi Renvee,
No. You? I'm nervous.
Hi PGC! Getting a 68% on the TEAS the first time is pretty good. I'm not sure what they're looking for in regards to the GPA. I'm currently taking Chem 2 and I love it! A lot of my classmates applied to UIW; they're pretty smart.
I'm a horrible test taker, as I get too nervous everytime I have to take any major exams (including inaide the classroom). Thank you! Yes, God allowed me to survive the virus, and my husband who is a medical provider as well took care of me.
I think what we're waiting for is the interview. The first time I took the TEAS I only got 67.3, because I was too nervous and couldn't stopped shaking. I got a 74.7 the second time that's because I was sick with the virus, drank 2 cups of lavender and chamomile tea. I think it was not a good idea retaking it because they might put me in a different admission category (not sure what that means).
Anyways, God will provide according to His will. We'll be OK. Press on.

Hey, how did it go on your 2nd try?
How long is the program? It looks like it's expensive. Have you heard any updates?

Hi! I haven’t gotten an email yet, I asked some applicants from last year who got in for Spring 2020 and they said around this time they start sending them out. I’m a little Nervous because my GPA is not the best but my science GPA is about 3.14. I know someone who got in with a 3.0. I heard they also have a waitlist
I see. I think so because October is right around the corner..So, they have a wait list as well? If I get on that wait list, that means I won't start until the Fall 2021?
