Ucf/vcc concurrent program

I need a job so if anyone has any tips or hears of openings! :) lol I read somewhere the program was around $10,000. Does that sound right?

Chelsey Ruth-Yes, i got my CPR certification already and would do it if I was with, one thing less to worry about.

Tricia- yes its about 10,000 for valencia and then the extra for ucf, I think its a total of 16000 for both programs, not exactly sure though. thank goodness for financial aid and although i dont want to take out loans-at least they have loan forgiveness for nursing.

What is a loan forgiveness??? I've never heard of that...

Does anyone have an idea when the orientation will be? I'm trying to plan a trip to see my family for a week in June, but I don't want to be gone and miss the orientation! Also does anyone else have any more classes to take to meet the general education requirements for UCF? They told me I need to take 2 more classes!

I got an email today from Valencia stating: The Orientation will be held at Valencia West, Building 11, Room 116. Concurrent orientation will start at 9 AM and expect to be finished by 5 PM.

I have not received anything from valencia either!!! :/ is this orientation for new students at valencia??? or is it an orientation for the nursing program?

I just recieved it on Friday through my atlas account. It is for nursing students and it is on June 24th.

This is what my email stated...Its July 21st...

Hello future concurrent students. Please mark July 21st on your calendar. The Orientation will be held at Valencia West, Building 11, Room 116. Concurrent orientation will start at 9 AM and expect to be finished by 5 PM.

Several departments will make presentations including the Library, IT, Student Services, CON and so on.

This orientation is mandatory. See you on July 21st.

I've also attached the Plan of Study for those who mat need it for financial aid.

Ok Im starting to freak out now! :/ I have NOT received an email from Valencia about the orietation!

For those that applied to the concurrent ASN to BSN program share their gpa please? I'm just wondering if my current gpa is competitive enough for this program. Thanks and good luck to everyone!

We have 2 orientations. The one for Valencia is June 24th and the one for UCF is July 21st Building 11 Room116 at Valencia West from 9a-5p.

I also will try and keep my serving job on the weekends to help pay bills. I hope this doesn't leave me overwelmed. They've drilled it into our heads that it's not a good idea to hold a job. Is anyone else nervous about keeping theirs through the program??
