  1. Ok Im starting to freak out now! :/ I have NOT received an email from Valencia about the orietation!
  2. I have not received anything from valencia either!!! :/ is this orientation for new students at valencia??? or is it an orientation for the nursing program?
  3. What is a loan forgiveness??? I've never heard of that...
  4. See...thats where I'm mostly confused. I believe the background check, the cpr verification and other things that are listed at the bottom are due by the last semester of the nursing program. But I may be mistaken, I'm going to call the nursing department to double check. I'm pretty concerned about how expensive the background check is!!!
  5. I got it through my knights email...
  6. Good morning!! I actually received the MoA yesterday. It says that I have to print it out, sign, scan and then email the document again.:/ before the 16 th and some other instructions which I'm a little confused on. I believe we also have to meet up with an advisor to set up our classes, but idk if that's with valencia or ucf. Let me know if you receive something today...
  7. Personally I think so. My sister-in-law has informed me that she cannot apply to the Nursing program for VCC till she finishes her pre-reqs and takes her TEAS exam. By that time, your probably looking at the entrance of 2014!!! And your only getting the Associates! If you have a gpa of 3.0 or higher, then your best bet should be transferring to UCF and applying for either the basic or the concurrent program. Either way, it will be a 2 year program, but your receiving a bachelors. This is just an opinion, others may think differently. Hope this helps :)
  8. I did already. But if you have not, call and apply. If you got accepted to the concurrent program, its ok. Just apply and call the nursing department to tell them of what program you are in. :)
  9. COngratulations Chelsea! Yay! Add us on FB :) I received an email advising me to let VCC know that I was accepted to the concurrent program. They also said that by this week or the next we will be receiving the Memorandum. Good luck and cant wait to meet you also! Take care.
  10. There are soooo many Nicole Amanda's :/ lol Just look me up. Like I said before, Im the only one that comes up.
  11. I did the same!!! Im so excited girl lol I thought I was going to have to wait a longer time, but thank God I got in. You can look me up on facebook...lucien farfan. Im the only one that comes up. :) Im eager to meet all of you!
  12. Hey Hunybare, Congratulations!!!! Did you get an email of conditionally accepted or just accepted??? Did you sign and turn in the printed email? Im still waiting to receive an email on telling me what to do now. :/ If i do not receive anything by tomorrow, Im going to call UCF and ask what is going on. Also are you going to be attending the west campus for the valencia classes or are you closer to the Osceola campus? As of now, Im all alone lol
  13. Hey!!! I am starting the concurrent program this fall which I am very excited about!! :) if it was not of an inconvenience, is it possible for you to email me that package also? I want to have as much information beforehand. Thank you in advance...and good luck to all. My email is [email protected]
  14. I believe the west campus is the closest to me. I live behind ucf. Oh my!!! I need to start getting things prepared as of now. I'm so eager to start already. I wonder if its days or night classes and if you even have the option. I need to have a part time job :/
  15. I went ahead and handed it to the college of nursing at ucf. They told me that I will be receiving instructions on what to do shortly but it will be emailed to me. I gave the signed printed email on friday, so hopefully I get something soon! Hopefully we can start together and create a study group as of now. Does anyone know how the schedule is going to be like? Thanks
