I received an email from the Valencia Career Program Advisor stating June 24th was the orientation for the Fall 2011 nursing program. It also stated that more information about it will come later. I don't know about all of you but I was already accepted into the VCC Nursing Program for Spring '12 before I was accepted into the concurrent program.. so maybe that's why I received the email before anyone else.

We have 2 orientations. The one for Valencia is June 24th and the one for UCF is July 21st Building 11 Room116 at Valencia West from 9a-5p. I also will try and keep my serving job on the weekends to help pay bills. I hope this doesn't leave me overwelmed. They've drilled it into our heads that it's not a good idea to hold a job. Is anyone else nervous about keeping theirs through the program??

I was conditionally accepted, but I just figured as long as I do everything needed of me it shouldn't be a problem. I received the letter March 31... I printed, signed, and turned in my acceptance letter to the College of Nursing the very next day. We have until the 8th to turn in the signed letter, so probably sometime next week we will receive the email letting us know what is next. If I remember correctly from the nursing info session, concurrent program students are only at West campus. But I could be wrong. We should start some kind of facebook page so we can all get to know each other better. And this way we can help each other out through this crazy process we just got ourselves into!!

Hello Everyone! I was accepted into the Fall 2011 UCF/VCC Concurrent Program!! My original start date was Spring '12 but now I get to start a semester early!! I'm glad to see other people will be working as well as going to school. But if we stick together, we can do it! I'm excited to hear when orientation is!

I was admitted into the Fall 2011 VCC/UCF Concurrent program!! I'm so excited!! I know when I was first accepted into VCC Spring '12 Nursing class, they said we would have a nursing orientation... do you know when we will hear about the orientation for the concurrent program?
