UCF Fall 2012

Hi! I just wanted to start a thread for everyone that is applying for UCF's BSN program which will begin this Fall, 2012. I think this would be a great place for everyone to share their concerns, nerves about waiting, or questions. :)

So, how is everyone? Which campus are you applying to?

you probably won't get anything until Friday the 6th.....

So absolutely nervous. I keep my UCF email up at all times and refresh every hour. I'm really hoping we find out soon, I can't do this much longer!!

FYI, to save you from going crazy checking your email constantly.... the adviser told me at one of the info sessions that they always send out the acceptance emails on a Friday afternoon. So you likely won't hear until then... Good luck everyone!

Well according to FALL 2011's thread they recieved their letters on Monday March 28 if I'm not mistaken. Maybe the servers were down over the weekend and they recieved them that Monday, I'm not sure.. But nonetheless they will be here on one day or another.. Ive grown tired of checking my email every 20 mins lol

The anxiety has really started to affect me now, woke up last night with nightmares about acceptance/rejection letters.

I know gracenkyliesmom, it is really starting to affect me too; it's very draining. Let's just hope tomorrow is the big day!

Tomorrow should be the day! I still haven't received an answer from UCF undergrad admissions. I really hope that doesn't affect my nursing application. It says on the nursing homepage that if you're not admitted yet if will be reviewed when the nursing app is reviewed. Good luck everyone! Keep us updated onyour admission status!

samiam856- the advisor said at the nursing information session that if the admission to UCF is still pending by the time you get accepted into the nursing program, they would take care of it. So, your general admission status to UCF should not prevent you from getting into the nursing program itself :) Good luck

thanks for the info! made me feel a little better but I'm still nervous. I didn't get in for the summer accelerated program and I don't know if I can handle another rejection letter! Hopefully we will know tomorrow!

Everyone's on their toes right about now.. Good luck to you all & may God put you all where you are destined to be... LET THE COUNTDOWN BEGIN! :) woohoo!!

We may have to wait a little longer. :( I called the SON today and they said decisons would most likely be going out early next week.

When I called a couple of days ago they just gave me the "generic" 6-8 weeks from app deadline, which would be next Wednesday @ 8 weeks. It really seams delayed this year as in previous years people received the acceptance email @ 6 weeks, maybe it is just because the Seminole deadline was pushed up a month and Valencia had a deadline this year. Who knows when the emails will go out, but I will be happy to know one way or the other to help the ulcers forming in my stomach.
