Jul 9, 20205 yr Hiya folks! It's a bit early, but since the application period opens in a couple of months, I thought I'd start this topic to share support/encouraging words/info/nervousness.Is anyone else already excited for next September?
Nov 5, 20205 yr Hi guys! I am new here. Hope everyone's having a great day. I do have a question. I have a degree from another country, and I just graduated from my LPN program at a private college in BC. My question is, does anyone know if I can waive the HAP and English pre-reqs, since I have taken both courses during my LPN program. Does anybody know a LPN who's also applying for the program? Thank you! ?

My question is, does anyone know if UBC recognizes Human Anatomy Physiology course taken from a private college? How about the English course, which I also took from there? Thank you! ? I think as long as the English and HAP are at the post secondary level you are good. You can always email admissions to confirm that the courses from that school are recognized and equivalent.

Current 2020 cohort student here jumping in. I am not sure if in person classes will return with the 2021 cohort. However, with online school, it's very busy. In the beginning of September, it was quite busy getting used to the online format. In October even as clinical started, it was not too bad. However, from the end of October to the whole month of November, there are many assignments, discussion posts, and papers due. I would advise to keep work to a minimum. You want to make sure that you do well in your first term.

I've submitted mine and there was no signs of a reference contact information section.

Nov 9, 20205 yr Does anyone know if there is a word max for the second question on the supplemental application, the one about relevant experiences that relate to the interest in becoming a nurse? It doesn't look like there is a word max? I was just wondering how long everyone else is writing theirs for each of the three sections in that question?
Nov 10, 20205 yr Question for current students already in the program-- is anyone available to look over my supp app before I submit it? ? I'd greatly appreciate it.

I looked it over and they all have maximum character limit except "Type of learning activity or accomplishment", but if you write too much it tells you the word max is roughly 50 words at the top when you save. 45 minutes ago, aspiringnurse09 said: Question for current students already in the program-- is anyone available to look over my supp app before I submit it? ? I'd greatly appreciate it. It seems I am not the only one who submitted early relative to the due date! I submitted mine about 10 days ago. Good luck!

So, the word limit is 50 which is seems impossible LOL
Nov 10, 20205 yr Good evening everyone, Are we supposed to register for CASPer ourselves? Or should I wait for UBC for additional updates? Thanks for your help.
