I think as long as the English and HAP are at the post secondary level you are good. You can always email admissions to confirm that the courses from that school are recognized and equivalent.

UBC doesn’t accept letters of recommendation, in previous years they would just ask for your reference’s email/number, 99.9% of the time they don’t contact them. The supplemental application is now open for the 2021 cycle and the reference section has been removed. They might see it as unnecessary because they never contacted them anyways.
