TWU Spring 2010

Guys ! do you think is a good idea to block one of the current weekend nursing students on friday to get some info from them. heard there are about 20 of them in the program. ...quite a small class..

Not to happy to day...my friend and reading partner just discovered she will not be able to go in for the weekend program becos she's F1 .So she will have to decline the offer and be considered for the regular.I know she will get in to the regular any way 'cos she applied for both,her GPA is the max and hesi score is close to 90.....

I am sorry, could you tell me what F1 is? I must be out of the loop. Thanks

International student........she has to be enrolled in 12 credit hrs per semester and can only do one online course per semester too...

I also have another friend that was taken for the weekend program.but he will decide between twu and UTA accelerated program if taken.....

F1 students are international students. That really stinks that she can't do the weekend program.

has anyone been to one the open houses at the Houson campus? I registered for the one this Saturday, but I'm wondering if it's worth it just to get a tour and stuff since I'm about two hours away, obviously i don't really need the admissions information since i've already applied

Congratulations Childofgrace!!!! welcome to the weekend boat.I don't have much info on the weekend program myself.But you can contact the prof mentioned in your letter or email for more info.

Ali523,If i were you...unless i have so much time on my hands,then i will.Otherwise i wouldn't.since you have already applied to the school and if taken,you will likely accept the offer unless you have other options.You will have enough time to tour the school then .This is my opinion though.....

that's the thing, I have applied to TWU in Houston and UT Health Science Center in Houston, my #1 was always UTHSC, but now that I've had months to just sit and think about it I may be leaning more towards TWU. i had time to look around UTHSC, talk to faculty and get a feel for it when i was there for my interview last month, but i haven't been able to do that with TWU. does anyone who has been to the Houson open house have a suggestion?

has anyone else applied to UTHSC as well? i believe kimmy88 did because i've seen you post on both threads. which school would you choose if you were accepted to both? the only reason i'm leaning towards twu is because UTHSC's program is four consecutive semesters, and i think i would like a summer without school for once. i would love to hear other opinions about this!
