TWU Spring 2010

Is anyone out there applying to TWU for the Spring of 2010? Just thought that I would start a group for all of us hopefuls so we could share information and have a way to communicate with each other.

Have you taken your HESI A2 yet? Have you taken all of your pre-reqs? If not, what do you have left to take?

I have taken all of my pre-reqs, and I just took my HESI yesterday. I didn't think it was bad at all, but I prepared for it for about 3 weeks.

If you haven't noticed, TWU has made some slight changes that I think some people will not be happy with. They are taking into consideration the first grade made at pre-req attempts for several of the classes like A&P, micro, and another class. What do you think of this? I wonder how it will change the applicants chances of getting in?

Good luck and I look forward to meeting you!

actually I didn't go. I woke up with a sore throat. All weekend I had a runny nose, but thought it was just allergies. I stayed home since I think it's a cold. I didn't want to pass it on to anyone else.

hey goopsy,

i hope u feel better. i'm sure we can figure out what we missed. thx tho!

I can't help - I didn't make it either. I slept terribly last night, and felt awful when I woke up this morning. It was one of those days where I was afraid to get in the car and drive feeling like I did. I would have been a danger to myself and others. I imagine she just read the notes again. Doubtful we missed much.

Elizabelle got it right. She just read from the notes. Nothing else other than that.

Ok, I called TWU and I was told that the traditional BSN applicants should be hearing something in the next 2 weeks! The time is almost here!:D

thanks for calling!!

does anyone know if they send out congratulatory emails for the traditional program?

They did send congratulatory emails last semester, but no rejection emails. So those who didn't get an email knew that they had not been accepted. I am almost positive that we are going to find out sometime between the 26th and the 30th since TWU has to wait on the weekend program to respond by the 23rd, which is their deadline. I doubt they send them out on the 23rd or work overtime on the 24th, that Saturday, to send them out. yay! It's almost time.

I agree with you goopsy! I have strong feeling those letters are going to start going out the last week of October which is next week! They will probably still send the next the first week of November as well.
