Tweety hope the project is done on time

Hi Ado

Work was pretty good yesterday, despite having been off for a day. Some craziness in the afternoon but not too bad. Did have a meeting but thankfully it was short. Storms expected so before work put the car cover on. Thankfully the storms were pretty mild

After work was pretty quiet. Mostly just exercised. Was going to do more needlepoint but realized it was becoming more of a chore than something fun so I stopped. Guess I was right, just not an arts and crafts person

Today work should be pretty ordinary, although will have a coworker off this afternoon. After work should be pretty normal, just grocery shopping and exercise

Will be cooler today, in the mid 60s, no rain expected

Good morning!

Joe, hope today isn't too crazy.

Day off here. Waffles let me sleep 45 minutes past her breakfast time and is now back in bed. She's confined to my bedroom while the workers are here and has been real good at using her pee pads I laid down in my bathroom.

Best friend invited me over for lunch and I'll go just to get away from the reno. His crazy neighbor got bailed out of jail and not sure if charges were filed. They were misdemeanors anyway and 30 days passed and law is charges must be filed by then. Apparently his stint in the psych facility didn't last. He's been causing less trouble but has been noisy at night off and on. While he was in jail coincidentally the date for his foreclosure happened and he was foreclosed for lack of payment of his condo fees for over a year. Apparently he hasn't paid on his mortgage either and it was a joint foreclosure. Even though he was foreclosed he went back to his condo. His condo goes up for auction soon and it will be up to the buy to evict him. I understand that you shouldn't just immediately kick someone out for not paying. But it amazes me someone can not pay for over a year and then stay on for months on end after foreclosure in a place he doesn't own.

Gorgeous sunshine weather. Apparently it got up to over 90 in some areas around here. It was 88 when I went to the store. We did not get the much needed rain.

Overcast day, but mild. We sure could use some rain. I went with sis to her follow-up for her sleep study, and she does not have sleep apnea. The neurologist thought it might be the cause of morning headaches, nausea and tiredness, but that is not the case. dh got his crown placed. I tried to drop off some donations for the Humane Society thrift store, but they are closed on Mondays. I did get a bunch of old plastic grocery bags dropped off to the food bank.

I hope to stay home today. I have been having to leave the dogs alone for hours at a time, and thats when they get up to mischief, like chewing on the furniture. I need to catch up on laundry, and shorten my new gardening coveralls. I need to start drafting a newsletter. I asked another master gardener to write an article about growing tea.

Hello all!

I have been in email contact with No Stars, who says she misses you all "like crazy," and misses posting. I hope IT can sort out her puter issues.

Joe, I hope work goes smoothly for you. Glad you saw your dad.

Tweety, I hope your reno work is done when scheduled, though disappointed that the cost will increase due to unforeseen complications. Glad you got Waffles' appointment squared away! Love your beach photos!

nursej22, you are sure busy! Always got something going! Hmmm, no sleep apnea for your sister but what, then, is causing her morning issues? If you lived near me I'd hem your overalls. :)

Sunday after lunch we drove up to Oak Glen to hear friends play. They are SO good! It was good to chat with them as well, and good to be up there. The weather was blustery and cloudy though no rain happened. Temperature probably around 50 -- which is REALLY cold to us! We bundled up and had no ill effects from exposure, LOL!

Yesterday we dressed dapper and headed to the Disneyland parks and got our steps in, heard great bands, met lots of nice ppl, and ended the day with some Mexican food. We slept well last night, and woke early to get my car in to the dealer's service, for some recall work. Dh brought me home and I got to sleep a bit after! I may go walking with S later, it depends when I need to pick the car up.

Good to "see" you all! Have a good afternoon and evening!

I miss No Stars, too! I could have sworn I posted earlier today but maybe not.

We visited with our financial advisor and it depressed me.

Apparently one of our neighbors has a new drum set. I kept hearing it Sat and Sun afternoons. It didn't bother me but I can imagine some people are going to be irritated by it. Now, if it were at 0300, I might be bothered more.

Gma has now been properly buried. They ended up not moving anyone, but placing her perpendicular to her husband.

We'll have mild temps and maybe a little rain for the next few days
