Totally wrong?

There is a sticky thread on top of the forum with suggestions of things to do while waiting for NCLEX results. You may want to read that. :)

Also, I'd like to chime in with the others that test takers are not selected at random, first or last tester of the day, etc to take all 265 questions. The computer only gives the amount of question it needs to determine if you meet the passing standard.

Most people walk away from NCLEX saying "What was THAT???". I left in a stupor. The questions were nothing like what I have ever seen before in all of the practice questions. But, I passed NCLEX-PN at exactly 85. I was so shocked that all I could say is that if this is what the state boards of nursing considers a safe nurse, then God save us all; I knew nothing...

Like I just wrote to someone else: you get the number of questions you need to prove competency to that blessed computer. That occurs somewhere between the min and the max. You don't do any more questions than needed to prove yourself.

Yes! More than one and more than once! I'll be sure to pass this on, though. When I took the NCLEX, it steadily got progressively harder: no med calcs, no simple questions. I thought I just got all of them. Oh well! Hey, I had 102* fever and took it 9 months after graduation (had a baby), so I guess I don't have to be too hard on myself!! jk...
