I had Kaplan, the complete internat. Program for foreign Nurses and I can really recommend that! Its really expensive, but worth it! I also read all the chapters in Saunders and did the question at the end of each chapter! That all helped me to pass! Good luck to all of U! Jenny
  2. You can do it!!!:monkeydance: Believe ion yourself!

...I didnt know that my feelings can be so wrong...! i had 265 questions in my NCLEX on saturday....I guessed almost all of them and found out today that I passed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I PASSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I PASSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cant believe it! I'm a foreign Nurse, out of school for 2 years and no experience! I think....everybody can do it! Believe in yourself, stay calm and the number of questions really does say NOTHING!!! I used Kaplan and Saunders....and it worked! This forum helped me a lot! Thanks to everybody! Jenny
  4. I took the NCLEX today! I did it today because I felt ready to take it and being well prepared! I scored good on Kaplan and Saunders! I had all 265 questions, all lot of meds, stuff I never heard of and was sure about 2 answers! Can I be totally wrong that I was prepared? How can that happened? I'm pretty sure I failed, all the signs are clear and I'm not surprise when I see the result on pearson Vue in 48 hours! But how can I be so wrong abput my self? I wasnt nervous that much, took some deep breaths and relaxed! I got more and more questions and my guts are telling me to take it again....! Any hope for me? What else can I do? Thanks J

  6. I have some question from different areas! 1st. Can someone help me to find the Link about Infection Control one User posted here few weeks ago? I was looking in SEARCH for it but could not find it! Can some one help me? 2nd. How can I see if North Carolina has the quick results from Pearson Vue? And how can I see results on the website from the BON? I still have time until I take the exam, I just would like to be prepared as good as possible, even with the "little things" after! Thanks everybody! Jenny
  7. I searched the forum for one Link, someone put online here about Infection Control! But I cannto find it anymore! Some people used it here and it was very helpful for them! But I cant' remember who posted it and what exactly it was! Can anybody help me? thanks a lot! Jenny
  8. I'm doing the Kaplan Review class and they told us you "only" need to answer 10 or 11 (!) Questions right in a row and you passed already!!!! Thats unbelievable! Then, most of the time the computer will shut off at 75 questions! Thats really not bad I think and gives you much hope! Jenny
  9. Hello! I'm a Rn from Germany! I finished my training as a Nurse there in 2004 and came to the US as An AupAir! I want to become a Rn here also! I did and passed the TOEFL-Test, did a credential Evaluation Service Thru CGFNS (is required) and my education is accepted here in the US! I take my NC-LEX in september, need time to study! If you have question you can write me a PM! Jenny
  10. Hey everybody, I don't know hwere to start....I'm from Germany and since almost 2 years here in the US as a Nanny (AuPair)! I take the NC-LEX in september and I'm a RN in Germany! I don't have any workexperience and I'm out of all the Nursing and medical stuff since I'm here! Now I started to prepare for the NC-LEX but its soooooo much! I forgot almost everything I learned in Germany and I don't know where to start with all that! I'm not sure if the challenge, to take the NC-LEX is too much for me! Its all so overwhelming! I take a Kaplan Course over 4 months now (online and 1 week in a classroom)! I I'm out of that Nursingarea since a long time and its just soooo hard that I don't know right now where I am! Thanks! Felt good to let it all out.....! Jenny

Freud and Calculators have nothing to do with each other! I just didnt know where to ask my question if there is a calculator at the NC-LEX and where to post it! Sorry if I confused some of you! Thanks Jenny
  12. Jen82 replied to hsieh's topic in NCLEX Exam, Programs
Thanks a lot! Because Kaplan told me there is no calculator....which was shocking for me! But thanks for the positiv answer! Jenny
  13. I'm from Germany! I'm here in the US since 19 months as an Aupair and will take my NC-LEX on september 16th! Hope to get the immigrationstuff done after I pass the exam really quick! Anyone here from Germany who did the same way thru CGFNS, NC-LEx and Greencard? Jenny

I have another question! Is it allowed to have a calculator (for calculate questions) at the exam or does the testing center has one or is that all not allowed? Thanks, Jenny

Hey Hamburg! I will write you an E-Mail in the next days when I have a lil bit time! I will find out this week if I have to take more classes or can go and do the NC-LEX! It seems much harder, but why do people fail like 4 times or more? I dont understand that! I hope Kaplan will help me and I can pass it after the first time! Hope hear from you! Jenny
