Today I did 40 sata questions continuously and only 8 of them were correct. Totally loosing hope and . I am feeling really very bad. Guys, still are we getting lot of sata in the real test? I took test in July and last. Please help guys...........please:cry:

Still getting lot of sata in exam? please guys help me.............

I only had 10 satas out of 260.. so i think its random.. try approaching each choice as true or false against the questions dnt stress yourself coz if you will stress yourself out it's hard to concentrate, thats why u are practicing to eventually learn how to deal with satas..goodluck

I took my nclex yesterday and I got a ton of sata questions. I feel like every other question was sata. However, the satas on the actual exam are easier than the ones I practiced with. I got the good pop up when I got home. Good luck to you, and please don't stress yourself out. It's just another test!

I understand how you feel..I am also weak on sata..I rented Lippincott's alt. format qs..its helping me a great deal..scores are not the greatest, but I feel alot more comfortable with them...I will be taking the test in a couple of wks..I am avg from 50-70's and so I hope I am doing enough practice..I am almost done with the book..just keep practicing..You can do it!

I got a lot of SATA questions on the NCLEX, possibly even a third of my 75. Kaplan was included in my nursing school's tuition, so it was my main resource for studying. I felt that the SATA was more straightforward on the actual NCLEX than on the Kaplan prep, if that is what you are using. Just keep practicing! There is nothing else to do but keep working on it.

Thanks guys........I am practicing Lippincot's and kaplan too. In Lippincots i am also scoring 60-70%. I almost finished the book. Some times i get right, but yesterday i took Kaplan's sample test for SATA and really bad. And i felt like "gone everything". I am going to take the test in next 3 weeks, that is the reason i felt very bad.

If you encounter SATA in nclex thats supposed to be a good thing... its a higher level question and means you are progressing

Try using PDA book. It was a lot harder than the SATA questions on the exam but it hoes my prepare for it well. Good luck.

What type of SATA questions are you getting incorrect?

It's about finding WHAT the question is asking you...

Remember, the NCLEX has 4 principles-

1. Safe, effective care

2. Health Promotion

3.Physiological Integrity

4. Psychological Integrity

From a SATA perspective; the options are treated as a true/false statement in order to choose the BEST answers.

Review which ones that you go teen incorrect and their rationales, and go from there.

Focus on your weak areas as well in preparation for the boards.

Hope this helps!

I got my PDA book Yesterday. I am doing questions on it now. Hope,it helps me.

On my nclex I had many sata questions that were like back to back. As if most of the questions were sata. But I heard if you're getting a lot of these along with priority questions then you're answering The hard ones that are above the passing level. So don't stress it. I felt like I had all the sata wrong. Just remember a tip with sata. It's NEVER all the answers and it's ALWAYS more than one answer. Hope that helps :) goodluck.
