I'll be 40 this April, and have 3 pre-reqs to take before applying. That puts me about 2 years away from potentially starting nursing school. Am I too old for this? Encourage me please...

40 is young! The next few years will pass either way, so you might as well go for it.

Nope - not too old. I'm 45, just started. Couldn't care less, to be honest. In fact, I'd do this if I was 65 if it was what I really wanted.

No way! There are a few students in this years nursing program at my college that are well over 40 years old. You got this!!

I'll be 40 in August, I start nursing school in Jan. You're not too old.
Can you take more than 1 course at a time?

:no: Old is a mindset. I'm 42, currently finishing my pre-reqs and having submitted my application for nursing school.
If everything goes as planned, I will probably be done with school by the time I am around 50. Things happen at a specific pace for each person, and if you are certain about becoming a nurse, then go for it.
