Time is ticking...

hey guys

ok so I took the NCLEX the first time in July and failed with 265 questions; it was torture. My anaylsis report claimed that I "came close to the passing average" for all of the sections given. My first question on that exam was a math question and for some reason I already had that feeling that this test sitting isn't mine. So since then I've been doing NCLEX Q's left & right and time is ticking... Im taking the exam again next week on Tuesday and am getting a little nervous.I feel like I should be doing something more than just questions but when I look at books for content review, I get overwhelmed with the amount of imformation in EACH topic to review and put the book away to return to my Q's. This has been my vicious cycle :banghead:

Anyways, I DO have some faith in my passing being that I graduated with a great GPA, I'm just getting the jitters and am wondering if what I am doing is remotely enough to PASS this exam.

PS..I just came back from vacation & got engaged!! which makes it SO much harder to focus but I'm doing my best!

I would just concentrate on answering questions and reading the rationale. Only get your study book out to study if you are doing badly in an area.

Congrats on getting engaged :D

I took it on July 15th in the afternoon so now I rescheduled for the morning exam :wink2: Tried to change things around around a little, up the odds of my passing. Glad to hear I'm not the only one in this boat! I do pray everyday and will do so for you as well, hope to hear good news from you by the end of next week!

Gool luck Mich 2009. I was near passing in all categories except safety and infection control the first time. I had all 265 questions. I have been working my butt off and IM scheduled next week for a different location and a different time. I actually had it scheduled for the same location same time but I had this feeling that kept nawing at me to change location and time. So I did :) Im wishing you the best of luck and everyone else. Im sending massive amounts of prayers out to you and everyone else.:heartbeat:D:specs::nurse:
